Ruby Suresh, Contract Liaison, Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, Janssen R&D LLC.

Ruby is employed with one of the Fortune 100 Pharma companies as a Contract Liaison in the Pharma R&D sector. Ruby also serves as the Decision Support Leader for the R&D Operations of her Therapeutic Area. Ruby has been with Janssen for 15 years.

Ruby is an active volunteer in her company and is part of the leadership teams for the Mental Health Diplomats, South Asian Professional Network Association (SAPNA), and Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI).

For over 17 years, Ruby has been a certified faculty member of the Art of Living Foundation where she leads stress management workshops and teaches meditation. Ruby has led the Princeton Chapter of the Art of Living Foundation since 2001 and has helped in bringing relief from stress to several hundreds of people in the Princeton Area.

She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Womanspace, based in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Womanspace has been empowering survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse for over 40 years.

Ruby is also a volunteer with the Overseas Volunteer for Better India since inception and feel motivated in making a difference in the lives of women and children suffering hardships in India and elsewhere. The organization is currently working on a project to rehabilitate 50 young daughters of sex workers from the largest red-light district of Kolkata, India.

Ruby has used her professional skills of communication and leadership to impact the organizations she is involved with.

For Ruby, volunteering is an outer expression of the inner joy experienced when helping without any expectation of receiving anything in return. Her mother was inspiration in motivating her to be a volunteer from a very young age and believes that she has been a volunteer all her life.
